"Attached is a link to the Katie Avis Douglass lawsuit’s Notice of Proposed Settlement of claims and other related documents posted on the CDSS website. The class action lawsuit sought to improve the mental health and other supportive services for children and youth who are in foster care in California or who are at imminent risk of placement in foster care. The Notice provides instructions for obtaining additional information regarding the proposed Settlement and for objecting to its terms. Objections must be stated in writing and mailed to the addresses listed in the notice by November 18, 2011."
