Alameda County Chapter has a long history of CYC, Alameda county is a chapter that has a strong relationship with all members. Alameda county chapter has different nationalities that makes it very diverse. It has current foster youth and emacipatied foster youth working in alameda county. In addition to conferences, Alameda county chapter works very hard to improve the group homes and foster care placements in Alameda County.

An example of this, we partnered with other agencies intrested in inproving foster care to create the Youth Led Evaluation Project (YLEP). YELP jobs is to go into group homes in Alameda County and survey youth about the services that they are recieving.

Alameda chapter Meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 5pm to 7pm.
