Welcome to the PLACER COUNTY chapter of
California Youth Connection (CYC) !!!

We are currently working on our local issue; increasing transitional services and housing for emancipating Foster Youth.  

We recently received a GABY grant to establish a Planning Commission for Transitional Foster Youth.  We sucessfully put on a community dinner to discuss the results of a survey we conducted, and discussed these results with community locals who are working to increase transitional housing in our county.  Currently we are partnering with locals in our community to establish affordable transitional housing.
